Note the dramatic change of size and spatial distribution of hyperfluorescent and hypofluorescent lesions (as shown within the boundaries of ellipses). The reduced AF areas are presumed to identify regions in transition to geographic atrophy onset. Note that the bilateral hyperfluorescent lesions temporal to the fovea at 6 months after initial consultation (A & F) are much less apparent by 38 months (E & J).
